First of all, I wanted to tell you how much our runners absolutely enjoyed the race on Sunday… Even in the rain! They still have not stopped talking about the event and we had our school banquet last night in front of 400 people and the graduating eighth graders talked about how they will remember that trip to Columbus for the rest of their lives. I just wanted to let you know the impact you are making on these young runners!

Coach Clay i know i mentioned this to you Sunday but just wanted to tell you once more. What you have done for the young runners in Ohio is amazing. Your impact is felt all across the state. I been at this for a long time and im telling you that you have encouraged more kids to get excited about running than anything our State organization has done or ever Will do. Exciting and bittersweet that this will be our 8th and final Middle School State Championship run. Started with our oldest Kylah (now a senior) in 5th grade 7 years ago. Now her younger sis Hayden gets to run the course one last time as an 8th grader. We will forever promote this experience. The original and "only" true MS state championship!

On behalf of my entire family we would like to thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for Ohio's XC. The event your crew puts on is outstanding. I call it an event, because it is more than a meet. Everything about it is far and beyond any other experience. My son pointed out there are more people that cheer for and talk to him there than any other meet he runs the entire season. Simply put, you are providing a tremendous opportunity for Ohio's youth. Since the beginning of his 7th grade year his sole XC goal has been to win the Fastest Boy competition. The motivation your meet and competition has provided will give him an endless supply of life lessons. He is highly competitive and self-motivated, but I honestly believe your event has carried his motivation through an amount of training most good highschoolers wouldn't attempt. The awards you provide runners are amazing. Comparatively, my son won his conference both years, and has one small medal that says top finisher on it. Thanks again for all the memories you have provided over the years.

This was our first time at the meet and we were impressed with how organized and smooth it was! The atmosphere was fun and the course was great! Thank you for all the hard work and for inspiring young runners to be their best!
