2026 Ohio Cross Country Middle School State Championships

D1 Girls Elementary 6th grade and under

For Elementary races if your High School Varsity competes in D1 enter the D1 race. If your Varsity competes In D2,D3 or D4 enter the D2/D3/D4 race.

You can have runners from more than one Elementary school as long as they all funnel into the same high school. For example in my hometown we once had 6 elementary schools but they all funneled into Van Wert high school. If your team is made up of runners from more than one high school they must enter D1 race.

If your School Varsity Cross Country team is Division 1 then you must enter your team in the D1 team division. If your School Varsity Cross Country Team competes in Division 2 or Division 3/4 you would enter them in the D2 or D3/D4 team division. Division 1 teams CANNOT move down to Division 2 or 3/4 but division 2 or 3/4 teams can move up a Division if they choose to do so. All runners MUST have competed on the same school team during the season. Teams cannot add runners from other schools. If you did not run together during the season you do not run together at the state meet!

(For this 1st year Division 3 and 4 will be combined into one Division. If we get enough teams we will separate them into 2 Divisions in the future)
