Volunteer
It takes a small army of dedicated volunteers to make Vasa Weekend the community celebration we all look forward to each winter. From course setup to cheering skiers across the finish line, volunteers help bring this 50-year Traverse City tradition to life.
Opportunities
PRE-RACE
(Thursday–Friday)
- Course and venue setup at Timber Ridge
- Registration check-in
- Food prep and coordination
RACE WEEKEND
(Saturday–Sunday)
- Parking crew and traffic flow
- Aid station teams (at “The Rock” and the 10K marker)
- Course marshals and crossing guards
- Forerunners and timing support
- Clothing bag drop team
POST-RACE
(Sunday Afternoon)
