Help Our Heroes
Every day, our first responders put their lives on the line to protect and serve our communities. Your support can make a real impact in the lives of these brave men and women and their families, especially in times of hardship.
All proceeds from this campaign (after vendor fees) will be donated to a variety of organizations that provide essential support to first responders. These organizations offer financial assistance, mental health resources, and even emotional support dogs to help our heroes cope with the challenges they face.
On this page, you can learn more about each nonprofit we support and make a donation directly to their cause. Every donation helps ensure that first responders and their families have the resources they need during times of crisis. Together, we can show our appreciation and provide the help they deserve.

Our services will not affect life insurance coverage. Please reach out if you are struggling.
Welcome to the First Responders Foundation, dedicated to serving the brave men and women of the South Florida first responder community. We understand the unique challenges faced by firefighters, police officers, and paramedics in our local area, and we’re committed to providing vital support for their mental well-being.
Our mission focuses on rescuing and training therapy dogs to assist first responders dealing with PTSD, anxiety, and the emotional toll of their service. We bring these specially trained canine companions to stations and departments throughout South Florida, offering comfort and promoting healing.

Pompano Beach Ocean Rescue is a division of Pompano Beach Fire Rescue. The beach patrol consists of 17 full-time and 25 part-time highly trained men and women who protect swimmers along 1,200 yards of beach.
All of our ocean lifeguards are certified First Responders or Emergency Medical Technicians who are trained to handle any emergency and are equipped with full basic life support equipment such as AED's and oxygen.
Our agency's lifeguard certification is provided through the United States Lifesaving Association. Ocean Rescue lifeguards receive additional training with Pompano Beach Fire Rescue.
Our ocean lifeguards also have extensive knowledge of the ocean and beach environment and are always happy to answer questions from the public.
