Monitor Half Marathon Competitive Walk race participants to make sure they follow specific event rules. Training and additional information will be provided. This is an active volunteer position. You must own a bike, preferably an electric bike and must be comfortable riding alongside race participants for 13.1 miles while you monitor their performance.

Volunteers need to help capture Sunday's events. You'll be assigned a section of the course to capture participants, volunteers, sponsors, water stations, cheer groups and fans along the course. Some volunteers may be asked to ride on the back of a motorcycle to follow participants up and down the course. Others may be asked to bring a bicycle. Note that the shift time listed is not necessarily what you'll be working. Many shifts will be shorter depending upon your location on the course.

One of the most fun jobs of the night! You get to cheer on all of our runners on the field and help keep them safe while running the various courses. Keeping spirits high and helping the participants feel celebrated and on track to reach the finish line. You'll watch for minor issues and alert medical if needed. Bring your cheer gear - cowbells, pom poms, foam fingers - whatever will help keep the energy high throughout the night.
