As we gear up for the Chesterfield Alumni Run, a truly special event rooted in our community, I wanted to extend a personal invitation to join us in a volunteer capacity as a ‘Community Captain.” This event isn't just a race; it's a testament to the spirit of togetherness that makes our running community so strong.
To make this year's run a success, we need the heart and energy of our extended running family – and that’s where YOU come in! We simply can't pull off events like this without the amazing support of volunteers who believe in our mission as much as we do.
We're looking for enthusiastic folks to join our crew and help in all sorts of crucial roles, including:
• Course Marshals: Your cheers and guidance keep our runners safe and motivated every step of the way.
• Parking Attendants: You're the first friendly face our participants see, helping everything run smoothly from the start.
• Refreshments Tent Heroes: Keeping our runners fueled and happy after they cross the finish line is vital!
• Event Day Check-In Pros: Help us kick off race day with a warm welcome and efficient organization.
• Photographers: Capture the moments of grit, joy, and community that make this event so special.
