Starting August 20th and concluding no later than August 25th, volunteers to assist with packing and mailing the packets to participants who selected the Mail-My-Packet add-on option. Task needs to be completed in sufficient time for packets to be received by participants before race day.

Assist participants on Friday September 5, 2025 in their pick-up of race packets. Includes checking-in participants and volunteers, as appropriate, on the RunSignUp Check-in App and retrieving packets for the participant/volunteer. Facilitate the sale of additional MBC jerseys and merchandise. For those completing the Check-in, you will need to use your smartphone or tablet on which the RunSignUp Check-in App has been downloaded.

Details

Assist participants on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with their pick-up of race packets. Includes check-in of persons on the RunSignUp Check-in App and retrieving packets for the participant. For those completing the Check-in, you will need to use your smartphone or tablet on which the RunSignUp Check-in App has been downloaded.

Also, may require processing of last-minute participant registration or switches among events.

Obtain merchandise from storage, setup displays, and test square terminals for items sold and prices. Obtain currency for making change for cash sales.

MBC Store - Post-Race Medium Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

On race day, set-up and organize the display of SWAG and MBC merchandise, including posting pricing signage. Configure and charge POS terminals / devices to record sales of the merchandise. Assist purchasers in selecting the desired item/ size/quantity and process sales transactions and provide merchandise to purchasers. Maintain control of cash box and count proceeds at the end of the event.

Verify IDs for those persons seeking an acholic beverage and stamp their hand for to show that they were age verified.

Repackage unsold merchandise and assist with transport from the Park to storage. .

Direct runners on Perryman at the start of the race and later, those coming from the Mt. Baldhead trail across Perryman to the west Dunegrass entrance and control traffic. Course Map Location 2

At the start of the race, direct runners from Perryman left (north) onto Park St. towards the Oxbow loop. Then move to Park and Vine and direct runners right (south) onto Park St. Course Map Locations 3

Course Marshall 4: Base of Mt. Baldhead Stairs

Details

Direct runners from Park St. to the Mt. Baldhead stairs and keep tourists clear so there is a clear path for the runners. Manage vehicle traffic in the parking area to keep runners safe and stairs clear. Course map Location 4.

Course Marshall 5: Corner of Park St. and Water Tower Road

Details

Direct all runners going north towards the Oxbow Loop. Direct the 10K+ runners south on Park St. towards the Mt. Baldhead steps. Direct the Half Marathon runners returning from the Oxbow loop from Park St. onto Water Tower Rd. to Fishtown loop and back onto Park St. heading south. Course Map Location 5
