Work as a team setting up tables, chairs, signs. This is a bending, lifting, movement filled opportunity! This is an indoor opportunity with occasional need to unload items from outdoors.

Sunday - Volunteer Check-in

Details

Welcome volunteers to the volunteer hospitality/meeting room. Check them in according to the spreadsheet. Hand out associated volunteer items. Direct them to their volunteer location and/or identify their area coordinator for further instruction. This is an indoor opportunity.

Details

Duties include labeling and organizing runner's belongings when they drop off, and retrieving them in a timely manner at the end of the race. This is an indoor.

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Welcome race visitors with a smile. Direct traffic to appropriate parking locations. Answer questions as needed. This is an outdoor opportunity.

Sunday - Course Marshal

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Directing runners and keeping them safe along the route are key. Duties include a proper understanding of the course, being able to stop pedestrian and/or traffic while runners cross. Standing for long periods of time is required. This is an outdoor opportunity.
Time will vary depending on location. Commitment is 7:00 am until last runner passes by you.

Sunday - Medal Distribution

Details

Runners love their race "bling" and a hearty congratulations when they cross the finish line. Enthusiastic people right here! Congratulate runners and put medals around their necks if runners allow. During slow time cheer for runners, not all four need to be handing out medals except in the peak finish time. This is an opportunity that requires standing and is entirely outdoors.

Sunday - Finish Line Support

Details

Be part of a great group celebrating participants as they come through the finish line. You will be assigned to help in one of various spots at the finish line with possibilities of:
- bib spotter with announcer
- food support
- water support

Sunday - Tear Down

Details

Work as a team tearing down/moving start/finish line equipment such as cones, ropes, signs, etc. This is a bending, lifting, movement filled opportunity! This is an indoor/outdoor opportunity.
