They will be at Leonard Morse Hospital for a period of time on Saturday to help participants pick up their bibs and shirts a day ahead of the event. Race Day

Race Day Registration & Check In High Priority

October 26, 2025

Details

Stationed at the Registration Table, volunteers in this group will be among the first faces participants will see. This group will be assisting registered participants with check-in, assigning bibs, handing out t-shirts, and supporting day-of registration. These volunteers will arrive approximately two hours before the race starts to support Race Day bib pickup and registration. When the race begins, registration will close, prompting these volunteers to pack up the registration area. When that is done, they can either be re-assigned or complete their volunteer shift!

Parking High Priority

October 26, 2025

Details

Volunteers in this group will be stationed either on-site at LMH or at one of our off-site parking locations to ensure safe and efficient parking procedures. These volunteers will set the tone, often being the first interaction guests will have with our event, so it will be important to be friendly and help as folks park and find their way to the race. Those stations at off-site parking locations will have a hand in coordinating with shuttles that will take participants to the course. These volunteers will start approximately 90 minutes before Race Time and make their way to volunteer check in about 2.5 hours in to be relieved or re-assigned if they'd like to continue volunteering!

On-Course/Cheer Zone High Priority

October 26, 2025

Details

Volunteers in this group will be responsible for setting up course signage and aid stations, and will be stationed throughout the course during the 5K to cheer on runners. This group will also share the responsibility of making sure all runners are safe, hydrated, and stay on the course while cheering loudly for every runner and walker on race day! On-Course Volunteers will arrive approximately 30-60 minutes before the start of the race, and stay until the final participant goes by and the course is cleaned up!

Finish Line Medium Priority

October 26, 2025

Details

Volunteers in this group will be stationed at the Finish Line and responsible for various roles such as capturing finish line photos, handing out finisher medals, passing out water and post-race refreshments, and cheering on participants as they finish the race! They will also help Flutie Foundation staff organize participants for the Kids' Fun Run! It will be important for these volunteers to bring the energy! Finish Line volunteers will start right before Race Time, and finish after all participants have completed the race and the Finish Line Area is cleaned up!

Vendors, Staging & Facilities High Priority

October 26, 2025

Details

Volunteers in this group will be stationed within our staging area where all of our vendors and Charity Partners will be set up during the event. Each Vendor and Charity Partner will have their own setup, and this will be where guests of the event can get food, engage with the Charities present at the event, and enjoy the day's stage entertainment. Vendor & Staging Volunteers will be on hand to support vendors and event guests with any questions, and make sure they have everything they need. They will start approximately one hour before Race Time, and will stay until their assigned vendors/charities are cleaned up!
