Road to Boston 5K (Virtual Only)

Tonya Bradley is going to Boston! She has been accepted to fundraise and run for the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts in the 128th Boston Marathon on April 15, 2024! Join Tonya by running or walking this virtual 5K. This supports Tonya and the Urban League! Tell your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, run clubs, church groups, walk clubs, and gym buddies to sign up today!

Your registration will empower ULEM's work to offer employment and economic development opportunities and programming that enables adults to overcome racial and social barriers, economic inequities, and sexual and domestic violence.

Registration

Registration Fees: $25 for the virtual 5K Run or Walk

Registration for the virtual option closes on Friday, April 30, 2024, at 11:59 PM. You can run your virtual 5K anytime.. 

Awards

Of course, there's a medal! Every registered participant will receive a medal. Medals will be shipped or hand-delivered beginning the week of March 18, 2024. Medals will ship within 5 days of all registrations made after March 18, 2024.

Groups/Teams

Two teams can be crowned "Marathon Motivators" - one social team and one corporate/business/NPO team. All groups or teams must be created by April 7th.

1. The group/team with the most participants (of at least 10 people) in each category will be crowned as Tonya's Marathon Motivators and have their team name printed on Tonya's Boston Marathon race shirt.
2. Corporate/business/NPO teams that donate $250 or more will have their names and logos printed on Tonya's Boston Marathon shirts. 

A little about Tonya

Tonya's running journey has been phenomenal. Her very first in-person marathon was the London Marathon in April 2023. Since then she has also completed the Berlin, Chicago, and NYC Marathons - all world marathon majors. She is running the Tokyo Marathon in March, so Boston will be her crowning star - completing all six World Marathon Majors in 12 months. TWELVE MONTHS! What makes this even more inspirational is that she is a lupus warrior! Her journey, while tough, has been especially inspiring to watch. We can't wait to watch her make the most famous right and then left in marathoning!
