Event Overview

• Location: Scioto Audubon Metro Park, 500 Maier Pl, Columbus, OH
• Distances: Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 1 Mile, Kids Fun Run
• Charity: Mid-Ohio Food Collective
• Packet Pickup: Race day only, beginning at 8:15 AM
• Start Times: Kids Fun Run at 9:00 AM; all other distances at 9:15 AM
• Course Closes: 12:45 PM (3.5-hour limit for the Half Marathon)
• Registration Note: Register by 1:00 PM on November 10 to guarantee shirt/hoodie size
The race is on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Scioto Audubon Metro Park in Columbus, OH.
Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 1 Mile, and a Kids Fun Run.
Proceeds support the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Participants may also bring non-perishable food or gently used clothing/blankets to donate.
Packet pickup occurs only on race day beginning at 8:15 AM at Scioto Audubon Metro Park. There is no early pickup.
Kids Fun Run: 9:00 AM
All other distances: 9:15 AM
Course closes at 12:45 PM.
Yes. Timing is chip-based and results are posted online.

Yes. Register by 1:00 PM on November 10 for guaranteed sizing.
Yes. Race day registration opens at 8:15 AM, although shirt availability may be limited.
Yes. Virtual 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon options are offered. Virtual racers receive swag via mail if they register before the mailing cutoff, and may submit times through December 31.

Parking is free at Scioto Audubon Metro Park
Yes. Strollers are allowed. Dogs must be leashed; dog owners are advised to start behind the main group. A dog water bowl will be available at the finish
Yes, but they are not recommended. Keep volume low enough to hear course staff and for your safety
There is no formal awards ceremony. All finishers in the 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon receive medals
Age groups include: 9 & under, 10–14, 15–19, then 5-year increments from 20–24 through 90+. Age group placings will be posted online. There are no age-group specific awards for this event.
The course closes at 12:45 PM, providing a 3.5-hour limit for half marathoners (approximately a 16:01 pace). The course is open for all race distances until this time.
The event proceeds rain, snow, or shine. Start times may adjust in the event of dangerous conditions such as lightning or prevalent ice.
Yes. Runners may switch down in any distance on race day. If you know ahead of time, please notify the registration team. If it is a mid-race decision, please notify the timer upon finishing
Yes. Additional items (hats, shirts, tutus, hoodies) may be purchased during registration, with limited availability on race day.
Alert a course marshal or call 911. Marshals are stationed along the route.
Packets are mailed to virtual racers who register before the mailing deadline of November 4. Those registering late will receive packets as time allows.
Yes! Volunteer sign-up is available on the registration platform and it is a WONDERFUL way to give back to both our running community and our charity partners!
No. However, runners are able to transfer their entry into another USA Race Timing & Event Management Race
Yes. Chip-timed results and age group standings are posted online. Live results also automatically post every 5 minutes during the race.
It’s Thanksgiving season. There will be pies for all finishers as well as other snacks and refreshments!
The Kids Fun Run begins at 9:00 AM and offers both paid (with swag) and free (no-swag) options. Parents should supervise participants.
Which came first, the chicken or the virtual egg? YES! Big Tom as well as Kung-Fu Tammy will be at the race!
