Q: What do I need when I pick up my packet?
A: The easiest way to redeem your packet is by showing us your confirmation email with your unique QR code for the race
Q: If I pick up my race packet before race day, do I need to do anything on race day?
A: Just remember to bring your race bib!
Q: What time does the race start?
A: The 3K race begins at 8:45am and the 8K race will begin at 9:00am.
Due to the parking arrangements, we recommend anyone participating in either event plan to arrive no later than 8:30am.
Q: Where is the start/finish line?
A: The race starts and finishes in parking lot of Lake Lansing North. The pre and post race activities will be around this area as well!
Q: Is the course timed?
A: Yes, this is a chip-timed race. Your time will start when you cross the start line.
Q: Can I walk the 3K? Can I walk the 8K?
A: Absolutely! Walkers are welcome. We just ask that you start toward the back for everyone’s safety.
Q: Are strollers or dogs allowed?
A: If you are bringing your furry friend, please plan to keep them leashed. While at Lake Lansing North, please follow the Merdian Township park pet rules.
If you are participating with a stroller, we recommend starting from the back of the line up to ensure everyone's safety.
Q: Will there be water stations?
A: Yes, there will be at least three water stations along the course and water available at the finish.
Q: Are there awards or age group prizes?
A: We will have awards for the top overall, masters, and grand masters male and female participants. Age group wards courtesy of Playmakers will be given to the top 3 in each age division. Live results will be posted at autumn.playmakers.com.
Awards will be available starting at 10:30am. There are no awards for the 3K Walk/Run.
Q: Will the race be held rain or shine?
A: Yes, the race will go on in most weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather, updates will be posted on our Playmakers Instagram (@playmakersfit) as well as through race emails.
Q: What about extreme heat?
A: We will be closely monitoring the heat index. If the heat index surpasses 100 degrees, the event will be cancelled.
To be best prepared, please hydrate in the days leading up to race day. Take advantage of our water stations on the course. And don't push it too hard!
