Join Us in the Fight Against Oligo
The OliGO GARY 5K Run & Walk, happening on October 5, 2025, brings the community together to raise awareness and funds for life-saving brain cancer research. Your involvement supports Oligo Nation’s mission to accelerate treatment options and provide hope to patients and families facing oligodendroglioma.
Who Your Support Helps
More than 20,000 Americans are living with Oligodendroglioma, a rare and currently incurable form of brain cancer. Most are diagnosed in their 20s, 30s and early 40s, impacting individuals in the prime of life, and their families. Until recently, there was no dedicated medical research for Oligo, but this is changing. Many researchers believe Oligo is a prime candidate for developing effective treatments.
About Oligo Nation: Oligo Nation is a community-led foundation founded by Brock Greene, a father whose two sons were diagnosed with Oligo. After years of advocacy, he launched the only nonprofit solely dedicated to finding a cure for this disease. In just a few years, Oligo Nation has:
- Launched the first-ever Oligo clinical trial in October 2024
- Raised more than $7 million for research
- Awarded 26 research grants to top institutions in the U.S. & Europe
- Invested $2.6M in research over the last two years
We have made great strides, but there is so much more to do. At Oligo Nation we are here to help you, inspire you, and - together with you - to change our future. Please join us.
