A welcome note from Jordan Collins, race director for the Kozy 5K:

At Kozy Brand, we believe wellness is more than a destination. It is a lifestyle that begins with showing up for yourself every single day.

The Kozy 5K was created to inspire our community to prioritize their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing while creating a space where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their fitness level. Whether you are an experienced runner, someone training for your first race, or simply looking to take your first step toward a healthier lifestyle, this event was built for you.

As a mental wellness brand, our mission has always been to bring people together through meaningful experiences that encourage connection, personal growth, and community. We understand that beginning a wellness journey can feel intimidating. Many people hesitate to attend fitness events because they believe they are not athletic enough or that they do not belong. The Kozy 5K is designed to remove those barriers and create an environment where beginners and experienced runners can stand side by side, encourage one another, and celebrate every finish line together.

This event is about much more than running. It is about building confidence, creating healthy habits, and reminding people that progress looks different for everyone. Every step taken is a step toward becoming the healthiest version of yourself.

We are honored to partner with the TC3 Memorial Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting mental health awareness and making a lasting impact in our community. A portion of the proceeds from the Kozy 5K will directly support the Foundation's mission, allowing every participant to contribute to something greater than themselves while investing in the wellbeing of others.

This event is also deeply personal to me. The TC3 Memorial foundation was created in honor of my best friend, Tamani Carter. Also, health and wellness have transformed my own life, and I have seen firsthand how movement, community, and meaningful relationships can improve mental wellbeing. That passion is what inspired Kozy Brand and continues to drive every event we create. My hope is that this 5K becomes more than a race. I want it to become a tradition that inspires people to challenge themselves, build lasting friendships, and discover that taking care of themselves is one of the greatest investments they can make."
