About the RACE FOR RECONCILIATION
One of Brooklyn’s most popular races, this spectacular 5-miler is the perfect way to kick off your holiday season! The race will be held on Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, November 27 in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Like last year, we will assign participants into two waves, based on your estimated pace, starting at 8:15am and 9:00am.
The course will close at precisely 10:40am in order to return the park to the public and relieve all of the volunteers. All participants are expected to complete the 5-mile course by the cutoff time.

Community Partner - American Indian Community House
As is our Thanksgiving tradition, we are partnering with a local organization that provides social services and community support. The American Indian Community House (AICH) was founded in 1969, by Native American volunteers as a community-based organization, mandated to improve the status of Native Americans, and to foster inter-cultural understanding.

A small selection of refreshments will be available to race participants including bagels, hot chocolate, water and apples.
