Start a new Thanksgiving tradition with family and friends at the inaugural Inspirada Runners 5k Turkey Trot! This fun-for-all-ages event will take place on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the heart of the beautiful Inspirada community.
Whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for a new personal best or a family looking for a healthy and festive way to kick off the holiday, this event is for you. The flat, fast, and fully paved course winds through the scenic parks and picturesque walking trails of Inspirada, making it an ideal setting for a memorable Thanksgiving morning.
This neighborhood event is being brought to you by your NEIGHBORS ! People who love the community and want to have a fun and memorable event! We run these trails all the time and are excited to bring you a quality race!

FAQ's
Q: Can I run with a stroller?
A: Absolutely. This is a family event, and whether you are running with a stroller, by yourself, or with family and friends you are welcome to run with us.
Q: I have a runner that is under 18. Do they need to register?
A: Yes, due to liability reasons, everyone running is requested to register. This ensures they receive the appropriate swag, as well as makes sure we can put on a safe event! Note - passengers in strollers do not need to register. Only active participants.
Q: Do I have to wear my Race/Bib number?
B: Yes, you will be required to wear your race/bib number on the front, and it must be visible. Since it is a small community event, we are trying to reduce the number of "race bandits'. No race bib, no medal. Additionally, this let's our neighbors know you are participating in a race, and they will help cheer you on!
Q: Can I wear a costume?
A: YES! We hope to see all of our local turkeys out there showing us how to gobble before you wobble.
Q. Will there be an aid station?
A: Yes! We will have two aid stations, one at each turn around point.
Q. My family wants to cheer me on! Where should they cheer me across the finish line?
We will finish where we begin. Tell your family and friends to meet you at the park so they can see you cross that finish line victoriously.
Q. Where can I park?
There will be plenty of parking at the starting line in various areas around the park. As this is our first event, we do recommend arriving early to help ensure you are ready to go at the starting time.
Q: Will there be restrooms?
A: Yes, we will have restrooms available.
Q: What happens if I get lost, or don't know the course?
The course is a loop primarily occuring on our local walking/bike path. The course will be well marked, and if you have questions, please ask at one of our aid stations.
