THE RACE

Join the Fayetteville Running Club for the 12th Annual Firecracker 4 miler and 1 mile fun run in the All American City!

The course is designed as a historic tour of Downtown Fayetteville. Competitive runners, recreational runners, walkers, kids, strollers and dogs are all invited!

Be sure to dress up in your favorite Red, White, and Blue running attire.

The 1 Mile Fun Run is limited to 40 entrants. An adult must go with their child that is 8 and under.

RACE SWAG

 

RACE JERSEY
All participants who register by June 10th, 2025 will receive a Firecracker Jersey in their size. Those who register after that date can choose from remaining sizes while supplies last.

FINISHER MEDALS
All finishers will receive a medal at the Finish Line!

 

WOODPECKER TICKETS
All 4 miler participants will receive a free ticket to the Fayetteville Woodpeckers game on Sunday the 6th of July.

The course starts and finishes on the streets of Fayetteville at the intersection of Walter & Hillsboro Streets which is located between the N.C. State Veterans Park and the Airborne & Special Operations Museum.

Top 3 Males Overall

Top 3 Females Overall

Top 3 Males & Females in following Age Groups:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

There will be no awards for the 1 Mile Fun Run!

THE CAUSE

 

Proceeds from the Firecracker 4 Miler go to scholarships for local high school youth that are remarkable in class, athletics, community, and home.  Other portions got to local non-profits for community outreach, women's support, homeless support, animal shelters, and similar organizations.
