2026 OSCR Cancelled
Well...no snow in the foreseeable future, so unfortunately we are cancelling the 44th OSCR. We will miss you all this year but hope to see you next year! Hoping for some snow this winter so we can all find our happy ski place!
If you would like to defer your race entry until next year:
Go to runsignup.com/profile, then find OSCR under your upcoming races and click "Manage Registration", scroll to the bottom and find the "Defer Registration" button. If you choose not to defer your race entry, your entry fee will go towards grooming and trail maintenance costs. We are a non-profit, all volunteer club and would greatly appreciate it!

THE 44TH OSCR IS CANCELLED THIS YEAR DUE TO POOR SNOWFALL. AN EMAIL WAS SENT OUT TUESDAY JANUARY 27th.

The 44th OSCR 44K is set to follow the one loop format this year clockwise with wave starts. Weather conditions may change course routes. We will also have excellent 20K (Skate and Classic),10K and Youth only 5K events. The 20K Skate race will have wave starts. We will upload the 44K and 20K race routes soon. Please register online prior to the race. Prices will increase starting December 15, 2025. Race day registration and packet pickup will be available at the Yurt, please bring your phone for easy access to the RunSignup app. OSCR is part of the MT Nordic Cup series! We will have outdoor fires for warming up. Post race snacks/beverages will be available at the finish line, free to racers and $5 for spectators. Post-Race Feed/Awards ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm at the Seeley Lake Community Hall located at 3248 Hwy. 83 after the race, racers eat free and $10 for spectators. IF YOU OR A FAMILY MEMBER WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER, PLEASE CLICK ON THE VOLUNTEER TAB AND COME HAVE SOME FUN! ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL RECEIVE A CUSTOM HAT.

Getting to the trailhead when entering Seeley Lake from the South: go through town, pass the Veteran's Memorial, cross the bridge and turn onto the Morrell Ck Rd
Go one mile up Morrell Ck Rd and use the parking area for the ski trails on the left; on Race Day you may also be directed into the snowmachine parking area on the right.
