UMSL 5K Run/Walk

Lace up for the 5th annual UMSL 5K Run/Walk! Hosted by the UMSL Alumni Association, this campus tradition brings together Tritons past and present for a fun race through the heart of the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just enjoying the stroll, it’s the perfect way to reconnect, recharge and show your UMSL pride. See old friends, meet new ones and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

All participants receive a commemorative race t-shirt, a medal and other Triton treats and surprises. All are welcome to sign up!

The 2025 UMSL 5K Run/Walk will start and finish on Clark Drive near the UMSL Recreation and Wellness Center. Check-in will take place in Parking Lot C.

The route will travel through the heart of campus with views of Millennium Student Center bridge, the Mark Twain Athletic Complex, the site of the new Richter Family Welcome and Alumni Center and more! Parking will be available in the Woods Hall, J.C. Penney and the Millennium Student Center lots and the south garages.

Day of Activities

Before and after the UMSL 5K, there will be plenty of activities for all participants and guests to enjoy!

Starting at 7:30 am will be tabling from campus departments, 5k Sponsors and the Alumni Association.

At 7:45 am the UMSL Campus Recreation team will be leading a yoga warm-up out on the lawn.

8:30 am - The 5k will officially start!

Travelin' Toms Coffee Truck will also be available for participants to purchase a drink before and after the 5k.
