Description
This is the 8th Sterling Recreation Road Race. The event features two races; a 5K and a 10K. The event is sanctioned with the USATF. The goal of this event is to get everyone out and moving. So join your fellow runners to ring in spring with this fun and challenging race!
Event Information
Event Fees:
- Race fees increase $5 for day-of registration.
- Day-of fees must be paid in CASH or CHECK -- made payable to Town of Sterling
Race Day Registration Hours:
- 8:00-8:45 am
Awards:
- For both the 5K and 10K:
- Overall top Male and Female receive a Medal and Gift Certificate
- The top Male and Female in each age group will receive a Medal
- Age Groups:
- 19 and Under
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60+
T-Shirts:
- Given to the first 75 participants
5K Walkers:
- Walkers are invited to join us!
- Walkers will NOT receive timing chips
Parking:
- Runner parking at 1 Griffin Road, Sterling MA and 40 Boutelle Rd
Course Information
Both 5K & 10K routes start and finish at the Griffin Road Athletic Complex. They both travel along rural roads. The 5K is out and back. The 10K continues on in a loop. Route will be marked and police will be present to divert traffic.
