Join us on Sunday, November 2, 2025, for JCC Greater Boston's first annual Schvitz for Scholarship 5K/1 Mile Walk and Family Fun Run Fundraiser! Lace up your sneakers and hit the flat and fast, tree lined course on Wells Ave loop in Newton. You’ll enjoy fresh fall air and a lively community atmosphere, All ages and abilities are welcome. Bring your family and friends to help support camp and early learning center scholarships at JCC Greater Boston. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome! Whether you're running, walking, or cheering, it’s a chance to move with purpose, give back, and Find Your Impact!

Fundraising minimum is $180 ages 18+ and $72 ages 12+. There is no fundraising minimum for children under 12 but they are welcome to fundraise!
- $650 provides a summer scholarship for a camper at Camp Grossman and Leventhal-Sidman Camps
- $1,200 provides a summer scholarship for a camper at Camp Grossman and Leventhal-Sidman Camps
- $2,000 is the cost of an annual scholarship for a student at one of our Early Learning Center
The more you fundraise, the more you earn!
- For participants ages 18+
- $360 – JCC Swag
$720+ – JCC Experience (Personal Training Session or Sports Lesson)
- $360 – JCC Swag
- For participants 12+
- $72+ – JCC Swag
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Portable Bathrooms: Portable bathrooms will be available on race day.
Race bibs can be picked up at JCC Greater Boston lobby Friday, October 31 from 9-12pm or at 154 Wells Ave, Newton, starting at 8:00 AM on race day, November 2.
Pre-Race Packet Pickup: Packets (including time-chipped bibs) will be available during the pick-up times listed above.
Post-Race: Free water, fruit, and snacks will be available to all runners at the finish line.
Volunteering: Join our volunteer team! Volunteers receive a free JCC Greater Boston water bottle, and students can earn community service hours. If you are interested, please contact Jaclyn Raizman at jraizman@jccgb.org
