Join us at Timberline Mountain on March 11th and 12th for a family fun-filled weekend as well as two days of competitive ski racing. 2023 is the 63rd anniversary of the West Virginia's Governors Cup Ski Race. Which happens to be the southeast's oldest running ski race!
Ski racing at its finest sees two days of racing Slalom and Giant Slalom courses set on White Lightning at Timberline Mountain. With the combined men and women's winners after two days of racing being awarded WV-made glass trophies and prizes. The winner's names will also be added to the 62-year-old Governor's Cup Trophy. This event is open to anyone who would like to participate.
This year in addition to Alpine Racing on Saturday and Sunday, we will also be opening up the competition to Snowboarder's on Saturday for the Giant Slalom, and Telemark Skiers for both the GS and Slalom (Saturday and Sunday).
