Welcome to the 4th Annual Coconut 5k Run/Walk!
The race is hosted by St. Mary's Indian Orthodox Church in San Antonio.
Breakfast tacos, snacks, and refreshments will be provided at the race location.
Early-Bird Pricing
- For Individual Runners: registration is $30/person*.
- For Teams or Families of 4+: registration is $25/person*. Once you click 'Sign Up' above and register 4 participants, your discount will be applied.
- Kids 5 years old and under are free to participate!
Early-bird pricing lasts through Oct 4th. Onsite registration will cost $35/person.
Date, Time, and Location
The 4th Annual Coconut 5k will be held from 8:30AM - 12:00PM CST on Saturday, November 8th, 2025.
The Coconut 5k Run is a 5k Race held at O.P. Schnabel Park in San Antonio, TX on Oct 8th, 2025. This is a run/walk event - nobody is required to run! At the end of the race, every participant will be given a medal, coconut water & taco to nourish themselves!
If you would like to compete then please arrive at O.P. Schnabel Park no later than 8:30AM. All runners ready by 8:30AM will have a chance to compete for 1st or 2nd prize!
After 8:30 AM, the Coconut 5k Run/Walk will be a rolling start.
*We are taking on-site registration on the day of the event (Sat., Oct. 8th). You can still register at our Registration station at O.P. Schnabel Park from 8:30AM-12PM on Sat., Oct 8th, however, we recommend you register online to get the right size t-shirt reserved for you.
Virtual Option
You can support and virtually attend the "4th Annual Coconut 5K Run/Walk" event on November 8th, 2024! We will ship you your medal and t-shirt!

Supporting Residents and Families of Kerr County
This year, the Coconut 5k Run/Walk will be supporting the victims of the devastating Guadalupe River flood of July 4th 2025.
Across central Texas, families are attempting to rebuild their homes. The residents of Kerr County (and Kerrville, TX) have suffered immennsely from this unexpected disaster.
In order to aid in their rebuilding adn relief efforts, a portion of the proceeds from this year’s Coconut 5k will be donated to the Kerr County flood relief efforts.
