Wellness in Action 5K – Presented by Arabella Wellness Center

Join Arabella Wellness Center for our first-ever Wellness in Action 5K—a community celebration of movement, resilience, and support for women and families. Whether you’re running, walking, cheering, or volunteering—your presence supports Arabella’s mission to make holistic, trauma-informed care more accessible for women across North Texas and beyond.

Race Options

• 5K Run/Walk (In-Person) – Early registration pricing available
• 5K Virtual – Participate from anywhere!
• 1K Kids Fun Run – Open to all children under 12 (registration required)

• 7:00–8:00 AM – Packet Pickup
• 8:00 AM – Opening Remarks
• 8:10 AM – Interactive Warm-Up
• 8:25 AM – Join at the Start line to cheer the Kids Run!
• 8:30 AM – 1K Kids Fun Run Start
• 9:00 AM – 5K Run/Walk Start
• 10:30 AM – Finish Line Celebration + Awards

• 5K Run/Walk No T-shirt:
   • $25 Early Bird | $35 after Sept 26
• 1K Kids Fun Run:
   • $20 Early Bird | $30 after Sept 26
• Virtual 5K No T-shirt:
   • $25 flat rate

Can’t Join Us In Person?
Run wherever you are! Our Virtual 5K lets you participate from anywhere in the world. You’ll receive a finishers certificate and a big virtual high-five from Team Arabella. Extra bonus points if you snap a pic or take a quick video during your run and tag us on Instagram—more details to follow.

Awards & Celebrations
We believe in celebrating every step forward—not just the finish line. That’s why we offer fun, community-centered awards including:

🌟 Wellness Spirit Award: For the most joyful, uplifting, or creatively dressed participant
🏃‍♀️ Biggest Group Award: For the team with the most registered participants
💛 Heart of the Race Award: For someone who embodied encouragement, compassion, and resilience on the course

All 1K Kids Fun Run participants will receive a special prize for showing up and giving it their best—no competition, just celebration!

Why We Run
All proceeds benefit Arabella Wellness Center, a nonprofit offering accessible, trauma-informed wellness services to women and veterans—especially those facing transition, trauma, or burnout. By participating, you’re helping create healing spaces and real change.

🚫 Cancellations & Refunds
The Wellness in Action 5K is a rain-or-shine event. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of inclement weather, the start time may be delayed by up to 30 minutes. If conditions remain unsafe due to lightning, severe storms, or other uncontrollable circumstances, the course may be modified or the event canceled altogether to ensure participant safety.

If the in-person event is canceled, registered participants will still receive any included items such as race shirts or medals. We encourage all participants to complete their run or walk independently in support of our shared mission.
