Hiking and History Guide
Hike will be a single lap of the 3-mile course.   For Hikers interested in hiking the trail, you may choose to hike at your own pace, or, with two local trail hiking experts in the area.

Kimberly Nunnally and Brooke Hartman have been hiking the trails of the Great Smoky Mountains for decades.  Kimberly grew up camping and hiking in the Smokies as a native of East Tennessee.  These early experiences for Kimberly created a love of the outdoors, particularly of the National Parks.  Brooke's early experiences in the mountains were in the Blue Ridge Mountains, finding her way to the Smokies as a young adult.  Kimberly was a camper at Camp Wesley Woods in the 1980s, and her memories include star gazing from the unfinished Foothills Parkway and the bell ringing before meals.  Brooke became acquainted with Camp Wesley Woods as a pastor in the Holston Conference and has served as a Minister-in-Residence for multiple years.  Kimberly and Brooke bring their love of the outdoors, hiking, and Camp Wesley Woods as they lead hikers of varying ages along the trail at Camp Wesley Woods.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Both events will begin at in front of the Nickel lodge building on the gravel road heading northeast.  Both events will follow the Gravel road before this merges into a narrower service road before bearing left onto Bob Hayes Trlai- this trail will follow the properties perimeter (approx.
