Start your afternoon off movin’ and groovin’ with our Earth Day Fun Run presented by Kroger and Earth Day Festival presented by International Paper. The 2.5 mile Baptist Memorial Health Care promenade trail around the beautiful Hyde Lake is a great warm-up to start your day of fun here at Shelby Farms Park! All proceeds from these races help support TLC for the trails, lakes and buffalo you love.

Registration is $22 per person.

Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to help at Earth Day with tasks including greeting and interacting with visitors, directing guests, assisting with vendor load-in and post-race duties. To view the sign-up sheet, please click HERE.
Volunteers must be 15+ for this event. You must be able to complete the ENTIRE shift. If your family is volunteering together, younger volunteers are welcome to serve alongside a parent/guardian.
This is a great opportunity for schools, corporate, church, or community groups to volunteer and serve together!

What is the route distance?
Participants will complete a loop that is 2.34 miles around Hyde Lake.
Can I do the Earth Day Fun Run with a stroller?
Yes, strollers are welcome!
Do I need to register a child in a stroller?
Kids in strollers can cruise through for free with an adult registration! You will not need to register your child for this event.
Can my dog join the fun?
Yes! Please keep your pet on leash, leash in hand throughout the event and be sure to pick up any "presents" they may leave behind.
What do my race fees + fundraising efforts support?
Your presence at the Earth Day Fun Run is a present for Shelby Farms Park! This event benefits Shelby Farms Park Conservancy (the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that manages and operates Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline), and your registration fees will help keep these special spaces clean, green, open and operating 365 days a year!
