The Santa Fun Run and Walk

Dress as Santa, Log a Couple of Miles, and Enjoy a Morning of Holiday Cheer!

Join us Sunday, Dec. 7,  2025, at 10am at Fleet Feet Lincoln for our annual Santa Run!

The Santa Run will be a 2ish mile fun run/walk (not a race!) where everyone–young and old–will hit the trail dressed as Santa Claus. Afterward, all are welcome to get pictures with Santa, sip on hot cocoa, snack on cookies, and enjoy a morning of festive fun.

To register, simply sign up here for free and bring 3 items of nonperishable food on the day of the Santa Run. All food will be donated to the Food Bank of Lincoln, and a list of recommended donation items can be found below.

Those of all ages, paces, and fitness levels are warmly welcome to participate. Note that the Santa Run is an untimed fun run, not a race!

Registration

Santa Outfit Pickup:

• Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10am-5pm at Fleet Feet Lincoln
• Sunday, Dec. 7 from 8am-8:45am at Fleet Feet Lincoln

Included with Registration:

• 1 Santa suit

  • Please note that there are a limited number of Santa Suits. If we run out, please plan to run in your own Santa suit or your most festive holiday apparel!
  • One size fits most; choose Adult or Child when registering.
• 1 Santa Run decal sticker

Day-Of Registration:

• You can register on the day of the event, but you will not be guaranteed a Santa suit. If we run out of Santa suits, feel free to run in your own Santa costume or your most festive holiday apparel!

By registering for this event you are acknowledging that the date, time, location, and distance of the race may be changed, switched to virtual, or canceled at any time as deemed necessary by the Race Directors due to circumstances beyond their control.

There will be two options for Santa costumes this year, Child and Adult:

Child:

Event Schedule

Sunday, Dec. 7:

• 9am - Day-of Santa suit pickup opens
• 10am - Fun run/walk begins
• 10:30am - Get pictures with Santa, hot cocoa, cookies, and more holiday surprises!

Food Bank Items

Please bring 3 items of nonperishable food with you on the day of the Santa Run. All food will be donated to the Food Bank of Lincoln. See a list of their recommended donations:

• Tuna and other canned meats
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Peanut butter
• Macaroni and cheese and other boxed dinners
• Brown rice and long-grain white rice (not instant)
• 100% fruit juice
• Olive or canola oil
• Spices
• Low-sugar, whole grain cereals
• Healthy snacks (granola bars, nuts, dried fruit)
• Coffee
• Personal Care Items

Route

The Santa Run will be ~2 miles and will take participants on sidewalks and trails surrounding the Fleet Feet Lincoln store. The exact route is TBD and will be shared with runners on race day.

Parking

Free parking is available in any of the lots around Fleet Feet Lincoln. Please avoid parking directly in front of businesses that are open the morning of the Santa Run.
