Registration Options

• 5K Run/Walk with t-shirt & timing chip - $20
  • Includes t-shirt (guaranteed if you register by November 10)
  • Includes timing chip for official results 

• 5K Run/Walk (no shirt, no chip) - FREE
  • Just come out, run or walk, and enjoy the fun!
  • No registration fee

• Kids Fun Run with t-shirt - $12
  • Includes t-shirt (guaranteed if you register by November 10)
  • Open to kids ages 7 & under
  • All kids will get a medal

• Kids Fun Run (no shirt) - FREE
  • Open to kids ages 7 & under
  • All kids will get a medal (please register so we have enough medals!)

Online registration closes on November 25. If you do not register, you are still welcome to come to the Turkey Trot for the free run/walk option (timing chip registration will not be available on Thanksgiving morning). 

This is a fundraising event, and we will be asking for donations for the local charity (either through registration or on race day). 

Please register everyone who will be participating, so we can plan the event accordingly (i.e., kids fun run has finisher medals for all, so we need to know how many kids will be there).

Event details:

7:00am - Packet pick-up begins

8:00am - Kids fun run

8:30am - 5k (timed and non-timed)

Benefactors:

100% of proceeds will go to the local charity, A Giving Spirit Foundation.

A Giving Spirit Foundation (AGSF) is a Lake Norman based charity that provides financial assistance to Charlotte-area mothers facing a medical crisis.  Since 2008, AGSF has provided nearly $400,000 in grants to help women pay for family expenses such as medical bills, utilities, groceries, and rent.  We are an entirely volunteer based organization and are thankful for the support of our local community to help these moms in need!

  • 1st Place Overall Male and Female 

  • Age Groups Male and Female: 7 & under, 8-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

5k Course Description:

Start at Club Entrance on Northstone Drive, proceed around the Northstone Drive circle to Cadgwith Cove, then turn right on Northstone Drive to Willington Drive. Proceed down Willingdon and turn around at Ulsten Drive and back down Willington Drive and back to Club Entrance on Northstone Drive.
