Papa’s 5k

Join us at Papa's Pumpkin Patch on October 11th for our first ever Papa's 5k to run our trail system that goes around the farm!
The race starts at 9am and yard games will be setup to enjoy after. We are hoping to make the day a fun way to enjoy the fall season and bring together the community of Mount Pleasant. The hayrides, kids barrel train ride and free corn maze will open up at 10am for runners to finish the race. Don't forget to visit with our chickens, goats and pigs! Parking will be available for all participants. Please leave your animals at home as they are NOT allowed on the farm.

We would also like to dedicate this race to Papa, the beloved founder of Papa's Pumpkin Patch, who passed away in 2023. Papa had a proud history as a member of the 1955 NCAA Championship Cross Country Team at Michigan State University. Hosting this event on his farm is a heartfelt way to honor his legacy both as an athlete and a community member of Mount Pleasant. Participants and visitors will not only enjoy the beautiful scenery of the pumpkin patch but also celebrate the passion and dedication Papa brought to running and farming while creating a welcoming environment for the community.
