Join us for the D4.9k Run/Walk, a family-friendly event open to D49 staff, students, parents, and community members! Our mission is to offer an engaging, affordable, and healthy event for everyone in our community. 

The event kicks off at 8:30am, with the D4.9K Run/Walk starting at 9am. Bring your little ones for the free 49-yard Kids Dash at 8:45am. Finisher ribbons will be awarded to 49-yard dash participants. The 4.9K course is stroller and wheelchair accessible and suitable for participants of all ages. 

Prizes will be awarded to the overall top three male and top three female finishers across all age groups. Additionally, every participant who completes the course will receive a finisher medal. All finishers will also have the chance to win prizes, including two (2) refurbished MacBook Air laptops, in the prize drawings. 

Be sure to represent your D49 school by selecting its name at registration as the school with the highest percentage of participation will receive the “Golden Shoe” award. 

Register by September 2, 2025 for early bird pricing, and guarantee a swag bag and race shirt. Registration for this event will close Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 12 Noon. No on-site registration on race day. Join us for a morning of fitness, fun, and celebration!

Please note that due to insurance regulations, pets are not allowed at the event.    

Packet Pick Up:

Friday, September 19, 2025 2-6pm at Creekside
We encourage you to pick up your packet Friday, September 19th from 2-6pm at our Creekside location (3850 Pony Tracks Dr. Colorado Springs). Others may pick up your packet if needed so coordinate with family, friends, co-workers, etc.

Saturday pick-up: Falcon High School Stadium 8-8:45am.

If you have to pick up your packet on Saturday, please plan accordingly as lines can get long.

Please Note: If you aren't able to participate but still want your shirt/bag, items must be picked up at packet pickup - items will not be delivered to you after the event. Others may pick up for you if needed.
