In Kane County, there are 40 miles of Fox River and adjacent trails and 400 miles of land-based trails that lead to areas situated along the river. The entire water trail offers 158 miles of paddling through gorgeous Midwest towns and landscapes including prairies, forests, farms, and bluffs. River access can be found at more than 27 public locations, with many access points located in vibrant communities full of restaurants and historic and cultural amenities to enjoy.
