The course starts and finishes at Monroe First Methodist Church and runs through adjacent neighborhoods.

If you would like a t-shirt for this race register by September 5, 2025.  After that date t-shirts are not guaranteed and will be available as supply lasts. 

Shirts will be available in Youth and Adult sizes.

A No Shirt option is available and a $5.00 discount will be given at time of payment.

Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups:

5-year age groups:  10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Over

The Walton Tribune actively supports literacy, health and wellness in Walton County.  The proceeds from the 1st Annual Press Run 5K and Fun Run will go towards the Newspaper in Education program in Walton County.  This program provides classroom sets of newspapers in local schools for free thus giving teachers an additional instructional tool at no cost to the school system.

Currently the Walton Tribune provides approximately 1150 papers to the school system.  The proceeds from this event will allow the Tribune to increase the number of papers available to teachers and students thanks to your support of this event.

The Walton Tribune Press Run 5K and Fun Run is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series.

We get wet!  Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area.  Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
