Full Marathon

Full Marathon with Scenic Train Ride

The full marathon is a Boston Qualifier and is ranked as the second fastest marathon in the Northeast.

Take the scenic train through Lehigh Gorge to the starting line! The train leaves Jim Thorpe Station at 6:30 am. Enjoy water, restrooms, amazing views, and a descriptive history of the surrounding area.

Full Marathon with return shuttle bus

If you select this option, YOU MAY START THE RACE ANY TIME BETWEEN 7:15 AM and 8:00 AM.
YOU WILL NOT TAKE THE TRAIN TO THE START. You can either get dropped off at the start or park at a shuttle-lot near the start. If you park there, we will offer you a free shuttle bus to the start before the race and then another free shuttle back to the parking area after the race. The shuttle from the lot to the starting line will run until 7:45 AM.

7-Miler with Scenic Train Ride

The 7-miler begins in a remote area of the park, so runners MUST take the train to the starting line. The train leaves Jim Thorpe station at 6:30 am. You will be allowed to choose when you get off the train to start the 7-miler--at either 7:15 (on the way up to the marathon start) or at 9:15 (after you've dropped the marathon starters and the train is heading back).
