Event: VASA Ski Club Technique & Fitness Program Classic discipline
Ready to really have FUN on cross country skis? Want to confidently glide through the woods
and fly across the meadows? This is your winter to SKI MORE, SKI BETTER and embrace the
season like the Northern Michigan athlete that you are!
Vasa Ski Club’s Technique & Fitness program is designed to help you become a more confident
cross country skier through weekly sessions with a certified coach. It will include a
comprehensive review of basic techniques (you choose Skate or Classic) and lots of time for
practice and feedback. Develop strategies for adapting to varied terrain and diverse
weather/snow conditions. We’ll also touch on all topics relevant to training and racing.
This is the second session of a 6 week program beginning on Wednesday January 31, 2024 and running to March 6, 2024. The program will be each week on Wednesday from 5:30pm-7:00pm.
Participants must have Nordic Ski pass for Hickory Hills (season pass or day pass)
