DC LINKS WALK FOR HEALTHY LIVING
On Saturday, September 27th, 17,000+ Links across the nation will WALK THE WALK for our collective wellness in celebration of the 30th Annual Walk for Healthy Living!
For the past thirty years, the Walk has encouraged African Americans and other people of African ancestry to get moving because we know that physical activity helps control weight, reduce blood pressure, reduce the risk of diabetes, and improve mental well-being. The annual Walk allows us to reset our mark on reducing the incidence of chronic diseases that plague our communities. But we know that gathering to move together extends beyond the physical- socializing, fellowship and building community are key factors in maintaining health and well-being. Now, more than ever, community matters!
We hope you will bring your friends, family, and community members to join us on September 27th for this FREE, dynamic, informative, and fun-filled day of community and connection. Register today and join us to reinvigorate or jump-start your wellness journey.
