The Ajax Splash and Fastest Swimmers on the Roaring Fork, a fundraiser for the Aspen Swim Club

Schedule:

3:30 pm--check in.

4:00 pm--the pool opens for general warm-up.

4:30 pm--The Ajax Splash! A 50 yard swim for all. Swim with your friends, as fast or as fun as you would like.

The fastest 16 male and female swimmers in the Ajax Splash will advance to the Fastest Swimmer on the Roaring Fork and will be seeded in a bracket format (#1 qualifier swims against #16) with separate male and female brackets.

4:50 pm--general warm-up, 20 minutes.

5:10 pm--Sweet Sixteen round: 16 heats of exciting head-to-head swimming. Winners advance to the Elite 8 quarterfinals.

5:30 pm--general warm up, 10 minutes.

5:40 pm--Elite 8 quarterfinals: 8 heats of head-to-head racing. Winners advance to semifinals.

5:50 pm--general warm up, 10 minutes.

6:00 pm--Semifinals: 4 heats of head-to-head racing. Winners advance to the finals!

6:05 pm--general warm up, 10 minutes.

6:15 pm--Championship races--the Fastest Swimmers on the Roaring Fork will be revealed!

6:30 pm--Awards Presentation.

Entry Fees Include: entry, a commemorative t-shirt and swim cap, and a chance to win prizes.

$75 entry fee
