Donation Goal: $2,000

Donations for the Half Naked will go towards the Suzy Spiceland Michaelson Scholarship program that awards two local High School cross country or track athletes based on the applicant’s academic merit and extracurricular activities, both athletic and service oriented.

The Suzy Spiceland Michelson Memorial Scholarship benefits young scholar athletes in our area. The $500 scholarship was established in 2017 to honor the memory of Suzy Spiceland Michelson, a member of the Anniston Runners Club who passed away in 2016. She was a librarian at Constantine Elementary School and a frequent marathon runner. Since then, we have offered the scholarship annually to any local area graduating senior who is a member of their school’s cross country or track team.
