Burr Oak is tucked into the hills of southeast Ohio, well away from the usual tourist corridors. That's part of the appeal, but it also means lodging is limited. Book early, especially if you want to stay at the lake.

Athens has the most rooms in the area, with restaurants and shops within walking distance of several hotels. Rooms fill quickly on Ohio University event weekends, so book early.
