Good morning. During spring break I will be participating in a special event: 24 Hours of Stratton. This 24 hour ski event serves as a fundraiser to help children in need. It's taking place on March 14-15 and is sponsored by the Stratton Community Foundation.
This will be my second year participating and I'm excited to support this great cause through a fun and, sometimes challenging, event.
2025 was an epic event with 793 participants. We exceeded the fundraising goal, raising $540,947 from 2,626 donors, and continued to receive donations and corporate matching gifts. This brings the total amount raised over the past 13 years to $3,440,947.
Last year, I raised $450 from the generous NMH community.
My team ended up coming in 3rd for on-mountain points, 4th in off-mountain points, and 3rd in fundraising out of 91 total teams. I placed 14th out of 160 participants in my age group (31-54), and 149th out of 793 total participants overall.
As a team, we placed 2nd overall and were narrowly edged out of placing as the top overall team winner. #2026goals
