I'm ALL IN for this 24 Hours of Hockey event, supporting kids with pediatric cancer and their families. The charity behind this event is LivFree, which exists to provide moments of joy for kids and families, giving them a break from the struggle.
Through hockey, my family and I have developed countless friendships.
I'm using this 24 Hour event in Oxford to gather and reconnect with anyone and everyone we have ever known in hockey in Ohio and beyond.
My dad, Alan, played club hockey at Miami and was instrumental in launching Miami's D-1 program in '78. He also helped develop Talawanda High School Hockey and Hamilton Youth Hockey. My brother Jonny and I played youth hockey in Oxford, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky and are still averaging a point per game (and the occasional PIM) in our respective beer leagues.
Whether you know my parents, Alan & Linda, or we were teammates or opponents over the year, I hope to see you in Oxford on or off the ice.
