As a course marshal, your main duties are to ensure safe interactions between runners and vehicles. Hold vehicles if needed, and use your best judgment as a good ambassador for the race. Secondary is directing runner traffic so that they go the right way. Once you have the first few pointed, the rest should follow easily. When there is no vehicle traffic, feel free to cheerlead!
There will be a lead bike and course sweep at the front and end of the fields so you can know those points for sure.
