Michele Genesis - Fitness & Nutrition Annual Turkey Trot

Welcome to my first annual Turkey Trot. This is a virtual 5K that you can run any time during the month of November, although it shows location as Fort Worth that is just where I am located, if you are in the area maybe we can plan to walk/run this together.  This fun run is open to anyone who wants to join.

This is a fun way to promote and support my small business and share my passion of health and fitness. This fun run/walk can be done any time during the month of November, which means it is up to you when you complete it.

Most Turkey Trots are ran on Thanksgiving, but this gives you the flexibility to complete it when it works best for you. Be sure to take pictures, share with your friends so you can have running/training partners, and be sure to also map out a route that works best for you on your race day. A 5K is a little over 3 miles, so be sure to plan accordingly.

Please feel free to create a group/team and invite others to join in with that group. If you are planning on completing this race at a certain time/place with other participants, creating a group would be ideal. 

You will have the option to purchase a shirt, but this is not a requirement. Instead of a standard Turkey Trot or 5K themed shirt, it will be my business branded shirt so you can wear it year round. Feel free to dress up in your favorite fall or turkey themed outfits as well, have fun with it!

You will receive a race day prize pack from me in November. Instead of sending out medals, I am going to be sending you a 5K finisher mug so you can actually use your hard earn prize. My goal is to get you your race day pack filled with some fun goodies and your finisher prize (along with your shirt if you ordered one) by the first week in November. Depending on when you decide to complete the 5K you may or may not have your race day pack on your actual race day, but you will receive one regardless.
