Notice: By submitting this registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions set forth in this Release and Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement, for myself and/or for my underage child (under 18 years of age) if applicable.
1. Nature of Activities & Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge, agree, and represent that I am (or my child is) qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in Nordic skiing, running, racing, and related Nordic ski center or club activities (the "Activities").
I fully understand that:
(a) The Activities involve inherent risks and dangers of serious injury, property damage, and/or death.
(b) These risks and dangers may be caused by my own (or my child’s) actions, inactions, or omissions, intentional or otherwise, the actions or inactions of other participants, course or environmental conditions, traffic, weather, and/or the condition of any equipment (including Nordic ski or other sports equipment) that I or my child may use, rent, or borrow.
(c) For running or other endurance events, running/racing is a potentially hazardous activity. I recognize and assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions. I certify that I am physically fit, sufficiently trained, and medically able to safely complete the event.
I fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages incurred as a result of my or my child’s participation in the Activities.
2. Release, Discharge, and Covenant Not to Sue
I hereby agree for myself and for my child (if applicable) to release, discharge, indemnify, and covenant not to sue Forbush Corner Nordic, its parent organization, RunSignup.com, event directors, and their respective administrators, directors, agents, officers, members, volunteers, employees, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises or property on which the Activities take place (each considered one of the "Releasees" herein), from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages on my account caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the "Releasees" or otherwise. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during, or after the event.
I recognize, intend, and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, and assignees.
3. Medical Consent & Emergency Treatment
In the event of an illness, injury, or medical emergency arising during the event, I hereby authorize and give my consent to the Event Director and event staff to secure from any accredited hospital, clinic, and/or physician any treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care. I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered to me, including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment, and hospitalization. I agree to abide by all decisions of any race/event official relative to my ability to safely complete the event.
4. Health & Safety Guidelines
As it applies to my participation in this event, I agree to abide by the Center for Disease Control (CDC)’s recommendations for the prevention of the spread of infectious diseases and attest to having read the CDC’s guidance at www.cdc.gov. I also agree to abide by any distancing and other safety guidelines issued by the state, the community, or by Forbush Corner Nordic for my participation.
5. Media Release
I grant permission to Forbush Corner Nordic, RunSignup, and all associated event organizers to use my name, voice, and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications, or any other print, videographic, or electronic recording of this event for legitimate promotional or organizational purposes.
6. Refund, Cancellation, and Event Policy
This event follows standard industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable and bib numbers are non-transferable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather, natural disasters, emergencies, or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We also reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice.

If registering a minor, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian with full authority to bind the minor participant.
