Description
This course is a 3.1-mile loop. Runners/Walkers will begin on the road. The race will finish on the rail trail. Bring your family and friends! The children's Gobble Wobble will begin at 8:50, just before the 5K. Chip timing will be provided from Pike Street Bikes!
The Runners and Walkers event starts at 9 AM, and the Kids Gobble Wobble will begin at 8:50 AM.
Runners will receive cash prizes for the top three overall Male and Female finishers:
- 1st Place: $300.00
- 2nd Place: $200.00
- 3rd Place: $100.00

Where will the funds from 2025 go? We are excited to announce the Shinnston Turkey Trot Scholarship!
This year, we will give $1,000.00 to one male and one female high school senior who is currently enrolled in a cross-country or track-and-field program in West Virginia.
Additionally, we will continue to allocate the remaining funds to projects in Shinnston.
Early packet pickup will be Wednesday, November 26 at the Shinnston Lighthouse on Rebecca Street from 5pm - 8pm.
Biggest Team will win the Turkey Cup!!!
Costume contest winners will be recognized along with some silly awards.
