Donations are optional for the 15th Healthiest State Annual Walk and if you are so kind to contribute, we suggest a donation of $50. The Iowa Healthiest State Initiative is a nonprofit organization that relies on donor support to continue its critical work. Your gift will help our efforts to create awareness and integrate solutions to improve the physical, social and mental well-being of Iowans so that every Iowan has the opportunity to live their healthiest life.

A $50 donation will help us:

• Support Make It OK - A $50 donation covers the costs for one Make It OK Ambassador to be trained. These ambassadors then take what they’ve learned about mental illness and how to be supportive and spread the Make It OK message in their own communities to destigmatize mental illness, and begin important conversations around mental health.
• Provide Healthy Incentives - A $50 donation provides 61 servings of produce to a food insecure family or individual in Iowa through our two healthy nutrition incentives programs, Double Up Food Bucks and Produce Rx.
• Invest in 5-2-1-0 Healthy Choices Count! - A $50 donation goes towards the creation of exclusive resources and technical assistance for Iowa schools, early care sites, out-of-school programs, workplaces or health care clinics once they register to become a 5-2-1-0 Healthy Choices Count! site.
