Steve Wells is a beloved CCHS Special Education teacher and soccer coach, and most importantly, a wonderful father and husband; Steve is the proud son of Lois Wells, whom he describes here. Lois and Steve are the heartbeat of Kicks for Cancer. Steve's colleagues started this team four years ago to celebrate their amazing SWAG master and all that he has done to raise awareness and funding for ovarian cancer. Your donations will support the 7th annual Mighty Moose 5k and raise money for Ovarian Cancer Prevention. These funds are critically important to support ovarian cancer research! The MiDi Study is led by Dr. Kevin Elias who is a gynecologic oncologist and surgeon-scientist. Dr. Elias and his team of researchers have identified a groundbreaking new process to detect ovarian cancer at its earliest stages. The initial results of Dr. Elias’ research are incredibly promising!
