We are Concord Friends of India, a community group that celebrates friendship, culture, and togetherness. This year, we are honored to join the Mighty Moose 5K in support of ovarian cancer research.
For us, this is about more than running or walking - it’s about standing together as a community, showing love and solidarity, and giving hope to families who have been touched by this disease. Every step we take is a step toward a future with better treatments, greater awareness, and brighter tomorrows.
We walk with gratitude for the chance to make a difference, and with hope that our small efforts will add up to something greater. Thank you for supporting us, for cheering us on, and for believing in the power of community and care.
All the money we raise will go towards critically important ovarian cancer research led by Dr. Kevin Elias, who specializes in gynecologic oncology research and oversees the MiDe Study Dr. Elias and his team of researchers have identified a groundbreaking new process to detect ovarian cancer at its earliest stages. The initial results of Dr. Elias’ research are incredibly promising!
