BELIEFS
The Westminster Confession of Faith is our standard of doctrine as found in Scripture. The “Essentials of Our Faith” document compiled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) distills from the Westminster Confession core beliefs of the Christian faith common to believers and churches throughout the world. MVPC affirms these essentials to be, truly, essential statements of faith. We also agree with the EPC motto: In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.
