Brain injury has shaped my life in both personal and professional ways.
I have walked alongside a family member who sustained two traumatic brain injuries, and I have supported my husband through the life-changing impact of a stroke. I have seen firsthand how suddenly life can change — not only for the person who experiences the injury, but for the entire family surrounding them.
Professionally, I have the privilege of working every day to support brain injury survivors, caregivers, and families across Ohio. I hear their stories, I see their resilience, and I also see the gaps that still exist. Too many people are left trying to navigate recovery, resources, relationships, school, work, and daily life without enough support.
That is why this work matters so deeply to me.
Cere-bration Walk, Roll, Run is more than an event. It is a chance to bring people together, raise awareness, celebrate survivors, honor caregivers, and fund programs that create connection, support, and hope.
I know there is still much to be done in Ohio to create better futures for individuals and families impacted by brain injury. But I also know that when we come together, we can make real change.
Please consider supporting my fundraising page and joining me on this journey. Every gift helps move us closer to a future where no Ohioan has to face brain injury alone.
