This year, we’re honoring the life of Carl, our beloved first cow at Iowa Farm Sanctuary. Carl’s story is one of love, healing, and transformation. As the first animal to be welcomed into our sanctuary, Carl set the foundation for all the work we do to provide safe, compassionate homes for animals in need. Carl’s journey with us was short but impactful, and it’s in his memory that we’re hosting Carl’s 5k. Each step you take will help continue the work Carl started by supporting the sanctuary and animals like him.
